"Abby and the Lights in the Sky" takes on tough issues like emotional distress and social anxiety -- there are not many films like it out and the topics featured in the picture are rarely seen on screen. It is because of the support of people like you who allow for artists to take on tough matters and bring them to the screen.

WHY ABBY?

"Abby and the Lights in the Sky" follows the life of a woman after a tragic loss and her emotional recovery as she sees visions of lights in the sky.

The film takes traditional conventions of suburban science fiction and collides them against humanist drama. The result is an experiment in the form of narrative storytelling and genre blending.

Part of making the film is exploring a curiosity: can I make a film with emotion, wonder, and thrills? Can it be psychological too? This picture is my attempt at entertaining an audience using some of my favorite cinematic conventions.

The picture has occupied the last several months of some of my best friends and creative collaborators and now we need the finishing funds to get through that final push to bring it to the world. We are ready to show our friends, family, and friends to be. We are ready to experience this picture with you if you would only help us in our need for financial support.
